Signing to the cat?

OK. I've unintentionally been doing some of the funniest things to the cat lately, as though he is Colin. He just cried at me, and I used sign language to him and said, "Are you hungry?" Yah, as though he's going to put his paw to his mouth to note his hunger.

And the other day I was tired of the cat doing something on the counter, so I used our new, toddler-friendly "non -no" phrase, which is "All done _______" And I told cat, "All done counter, get down. All done counter."

Someone shoot me before I put a bib on the cat and feed him cheerios!
